The gym is clean, the staff are lovely and there is a great variety of programs to choose from. I personally enjoy the Cardio U program the best
I’ve been to 2 BFT gyms and this one is far better. The owner and the coach Linda are friendly and fantastic. She really encourages you to get the best out of the session, which can also be tailored to beginners. The vibe and BFT community are really friendly and welcoming. Bonus there is an area to bring my small kids to hang out.
I’ve been attending BFT Ramsgate and had an unfortunate experience with one of the trainers, Sam. During a session, I finished an exercise just a few seconds early, and he commented, “it’s always the chubby friend in the group.” Whether it was meant as a joke or not, it was extremely unprofessional and discouraging. Comments like that have no place in a fitness environment that should be supportive, inclusive, and motivating for people of all body types and fitness levels. There are better facilities in the area and surrounding areas. The owner at this establishment doesn’t know how to run a business. Cuts classes when people are paying $60 a week for a service and doesn’t bother to communicate it herself but gets her trainers to deal with backlash and doesn’t bother to create a community. People are always saying how there is no stability in the environment due to staff changes constantly yet it’s the result of the poor management from the owner of the business. BFT is a group training gym that’s made a real difference in my fitness routine. From the moment I joined, the space felt welcoming and the people - both members and coaches - were friendly and approachable. This is a point of difference in my experience with group fitness and is the reason why I keep coming back to BFT.
