I have taken many classes and courses with BeYou Yoga and highly recommend. If you are looking for a grounded teacher with many years of experience and a realistic approach to teaching, this is it. Mariam teaches in a way that is accepting of all shapes and abilities, tying in cultural aspects of the practice as well as fun and safety. Highly recommend!
If I could give a 0 star, I would! This business is NOT registered, they are NOT a Yoga Alliance Teacher. Their course is NOT accredited. Don't waste your hard earned money! Don't believe me? Go look up her name and business on Yoga Alliance and Canadian Yoga Alliance. She is NOT THERE! She's been in business SIX YEARS! They don't show you any policies and have you sign up to courses through a basic email form with NO terms and conditions. I asked for proof of their certification and was blown off multiple times. I had never tried yoga before and have some joint and mobility issues so I was very unsure about trying. Mariam made the experience wonderful and helped find alternative poses that would be comfortable for my situation! Highly recommend checking out some of her classes!
I just did the wild woman retreat. It was amazing. Mariam was a fantastic teacher. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. I have never gone to any of Mariam classes before, I can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend checking Be You Yoga and Wellness.
Awesome Breathing exercises, meditation, loads of positive energy! Highly recommended.
