Great spot in the middle of a cornfield with a brewery right on the premises.
If you are there during any rain event plan on flooding. We stayed and had one rain day camp site 8. The site was flooded we had to wade to truck. There was water in most of the park but the sites on woods were the worst.
Clean, quiet campground right off the Katy Trail. Multiple wineries & restaurants nearby. Not a lot of shade right now, but the trees are growing! Bike rental on-site.
I was apprehensive, having seen the other reviews about septic smell, mosquitoes, and wifi. NONE of these things were an issue. Most reviews of the camp factor the restaurant nextdoor, and while that place is great, my review only applies to the campground. Our site, #7, was level. Book the row next to the Katy Trail if you want evening shade. The new trees in the rest of the park are now roughly 20' tall, and growing. Not good for much shade yet, but they'll get there.
