I’ve been seeing Maryam for a couple of years now. I usually go to her for haircuts, but I recently trusted her with a big color change. Going from borderline black hair to blonde is definitely a process, and she made sure to lighten my hair as much as possible while keeping it healthy and she did exactly that. My hair was dyed a dark brown color, and I went in for a root touchup originally. But I was convinced that an overall dye would be better in case of any color difference appears. So I agreed to do an overall dye to MATCH the existing color. But they dyed my hair black, and keep saying it is brown, and saying they have been doing this for a long time so cannot be wrong. Unless all my friends and family are color blind, it is black instead of brown.

Azar was fantastic—professional, attentive, and really listened to what I wanted. My haircut turned out great and was exactly to my standards. I’ve been twice now for a haircut and root touch-up, and I'm so impressed! Azar did an amazing job with my highlights by perfectly keeping them while doing my roots. The attention to detail was exactly what I needed. I've found Beyond Hair to be my go-to salon!
