This bucket list item was a trip of a lifetime! I’m so grateful that we met Pierre at Beyond Expeditions and got to spend the afternoon with he, Eric and the amazing team of dogs there. Pierre was very welcoming, super professional, especially patient and funny, and taught us what we needed to know to be successful on the sled, and to enjoy our experience with our team of dogs. Beyond Expeditions surpassed all expectations of fulfilling a bucket list in the Yukon. Pierre's expertise & professionalism was outstanding & he put any newcomer at ease. Together Pierre & Eric led us into a winter wonderland of trails with an amazing team of sled dogs as we learned to navigate the sled ourselves. An amazing half day experience with Beyond Expeditions. I was a bit nervous of mushing on my own but it didn't take long to get the feel of the sled and the dogs. Pierre and Erik were awesome. The dogs were incredible. The trails were a lot of fun, not just sledding on a never ending straight stretch, we were winding and turning through the forest with little hills navigating through the lovely trail systems. We had a fantastic half-day dogsledding experience with Beyond Expeditions. Ben and Manu were so patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. They taught us everything we needed to know but didn’t overwhelm us, and gave us interesting info about dogsledding generally too. The dogs are skilled and clearly well cared for, and the trails they chose for our half-day tour are gorgeous and perfect for beginners.
