Carolyn definitely does not work in a “one size fits all” mindset. She really listened to me and took into account my life circumstances, which are such a different thing for everyone. Very disappointed. Carolin Beyer was late to court 30min after calling me the day before to remind me to be on time to court. During the process it felt like I should of represent myself. She gave me an unreasonable amount of time to generate the money for the second retainer. Three weeks to provide the retainer fee when court was three months away. After reviewing and reading online reviews for 20+ attorney's in Iowa City area I chose to work with Carolyn and her team on my divorce. It was an extremely chaotic and stressful divorce that consisted of my ex-wife using every stall tactic she could think of stall / stop the divorce from fake brain tumors, cancer and children as pawns to manipulate me. Hi Carolyn, I just wanted to thank you. To thank you and say that WE WON!!! It has been a long fought battle (we both knew it would be due to the crazy pants we were dealing with). A battle that took some great strategic perseverance.
