I think there’s a common misconception that the center is who has the final say on whether a PO is granted or not. The family justice center forwards everything to the DA and they determine whether there’s sufficient evidence to pursue a case on your behalf. Unfortunately, in my case, a PO was not granted. The Bexar County Family Justice Center are 5 stars!!!! Especially Counselor Naomi Flores!!🥳 Please get a copy of the book , " Slay the Bully " , by the top 1 percent Attorney in the . Rebecca Zung. All of her videos are helpful and so are her books !!

I have been trying to get a protective order against my ex who assaulted me. She was arrested for trying to stab me. No protective order was granted. She was then convicted of that offense and then was arrested for a second family violence offense for assaulting me while I was holding a child. No protective order was granted. They keep saying that a new incident needs to occur. How many times do I need to be assaulted to get a protective order?
