I dropped in this past Friday to get a quick workout while I was out of town visiting family. The amount of space for parking and the inside of the gym is amazingggg! The class was a little smaller but that’s understandable for a 9A.M. Coach Alexia was really encouraging and thorough when it came to explaining each movement/warm-up. Highly recommend this box if you live in the south side area of San Antonio.

I was visiting my brother in town and needed a place to get a good workout in—Bexar Box CrossFit delivered big time. The gym is spacious, super clean, and fully stocked with all the equipment you could need. I had a one-on-one session with Alexia(owner), and she was absolutely amazing. Her coaching style is top-tier—attentive, supportive, and incredibly focused on proper form. Her attention to detail is immaculate, and it made a huge difference in the quality of the workout. Being in the military, I’ve trained at gyms all over the country, but Bexar Box CrossFit in San Antonio is by far the best gym and most welcoming community I’ve ever been a part of. Coming from a powerlifting background, I was nervous about transitioning to CrossFit, but the coaches here made it smooth, fun, and challenging in the best way. I went to Bexar twice during a visit to San Antonio, and I was amazed at the quality people and facility. I even did an Open workout here, and they were so supportive, emphasizing good coaching--shout out to Alexia--and a welcoming, inclusive culture. They make it fun for all. Other members cheered me on in my workout even though they'd never seen me before! I would join this gym in a heartbeat if I lived in the area, and I will visit again the next time I'm passing through.
