I asked for a referral to an ADHD specialist because I wanted to confirm whether I have ADHD and she tried to prescribe me antidepressants “just to see if they work” before sending me to the specialist because she “takes an ADHD diagnosis very seriously”. I don’t want medications just to see if they work. I’m not looking for experimental treatments.
