I am really mad at myself for not writing this last year with all my issues I have had and still are having with Bever Landscaping. I am a small business owner and I know there are always 2 sides to every story but in this case there is only 1 side. Really sad that Nic Maslowski let us down. Bever Landscaping does not even deserve a 1 star rating. After multiple delays in installation of our landscaping, I requested a refund of our down payment due to services not provided. All of a sudden, Bever Landscaping finally arrived to install our yard. Precautions were not taken to avoid driving on our asphalt driveway during delivery of stone and the 6 month old asphalt was damaged (even though we had plenty of room for trucks to back off the road directly on to our front yard. Have had nearly $3000 of my money since May 5th, very poor communication unless I initiated it - which I did SEVERAL times. And none of the work is done at all - in fact it never began - and it is August 29th! Yes, you heard correct! They are possibly going bankrupt - so do not recommend! I may be out $3000 even though that was just to purchase product which they should get a refund for! Angry and legally savvy customer here!

I hired Bever to install a paver patio, take down some small trees, install sod, plants, and a rock/rain garden. Communication was ok (looks like I and Kristen had some of the same problems), however after the shrubs in the rock garden died two seasons in a row I did my own research and found they were a poor choice for the location. Some of the pavers have also settled in spots. I'd probably shop around next time.

From our very first correspondence, we felt very comfortable in working with Jim and the team at Bever Landscaping. Jim worked with us to design the retaining wall we wanted that would fit into our specific landscape. He came back with an estimate that was right within our budget. He kept in communication while we waited for winter to thaw! And at the first opportunity, his team was in our backyard building the wall. They completed our project in one day, as they promised.
