Been living at Arkle Lane now for a year and have had a great experience. Very Quite building and very clean. Neighbours are friendly. No Mice issues in my apartment or anyone I have spoken to in the building. Just a short walk from the shops and the Movies. Back when I applied the process was great and the staff was really friendly and prompt. Would highly recommend this apartment
We received a call of approval for a unit. A breakdown of cost was brought up and new, undiscussed pet and parking fees were brought up. A deposit in NS is only half of a month’s rent but he insisted we must pay the first month’s rent on top of a deposit even 3 months away from move in. We brought it to his attention and were told if we do not like his policy he will move on. Residential tenancy act confirms this process is not legal and only half of rent is to be charged up front as a deposit. CAUTION!!!!!
ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE Absolutely terrible experience. This management company has no respect for tenants at all. They overcharge for basic services with no clear explanation, and worse than that, they withdraw money from tenants’ bank accounts without consent or prior notice. Even after moving out, they continue to pull funds as if the tenancy never ended. This behavior is unacceptable and feels borderline fraudulent. This building has a serious mouse infestation. Mice are present throughout the building and inside the apartments, which is completely unacceptable and unsafe. On top of that, there is a constant foul odor inside the units that management has failed to address. Living conditions at 47 Arkle Lane are unhealthy and far below any reasonable standard. Management has been informed, yet no effective action has been taken. I strongly advise anyone considering renting here to stay away.
The office staff treat tenants with complete disregard and a lack of respect. Communication is poor, unprofessional, and often dismissive. Calls and emails go unanswered, meetings are canceled last minute, and tenants are left without clear information or support. Instead of helping, the office creates more stress and problems for tenants. This is not how a professional property management office should operate. I do not recommend dealing with this office at all.
