An individual from out of town bought the building then forced the restaurant out of the building by way of the court system. This was done in an effort for him to make a lot more money from such a valuable location. Hopefully, the new businesses will work out better, if they ever get the construction finished. Pierside was a favorite location for me and many others who treasured many years of enjoying the location and view.
Sometimes change is not smart for business Having been a patron for close to 20 years, all I can say is "Who the hell had the bright idea to change things?" That WAS our favorite place to go and we went often. We haven't had a good meal in there since all the changes began. I used to LOVE your fish n chips.
