I had a wonderful lunch at Betty’s Snack Bar and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive from the moment I arrived. I ordered the BLT on gluten-free bread, and it was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The seasoned fries were also excellent and made the meal even better. What a delightful spot for a hearty healthy snack and cup of coffee. Also picked up a locally-made candle that smells absolutely intoxicating!
Very nice café with high quality french press and drip coffee, fresh scones made in-house, and a nice outdoor seating area. Great place to stop.
The Betty. Great breakfast (pro tip is to upgrade the egg sandwich with bacon and a bialy), great lunch (their fried chicken sandwich is fantastic), and so much more. I often find myself stopping in to get a frozen pizza and a couple of beer. Or maybe a fresh pastry and a cup of coffee. Or perhaps a bottle of olive oil, a container of hummus, pita chips, and some kombucha. The Betty really does have a lot of what you may need last minute. Don’t sleep on this Liberty Street Gem.
