We were looking for somewhere to stop for dinner on our way to the airport and, after doing some research, saw that Betty Lou’s Bistro had rave reviews. We decided to give it a try, and I am SO glad we did. We had had a rough meal the day before, and I really didn’t want to leave Charleston on a bad note. Let me tell you about a hidden gem I found tonight. Me and my wife happened up upon Betty Lou's Bistro and I am thanking God we did. I got the fried porkchop and from the first bite I was transported back to when I was a kid at my mom's house. It brought back memories of her and those days. We also got the fried green tomatoes and I usually don't like them, but the goat cheese pimento cheese changed my mind on that. And the staff was so frendly its a must try place. Hidden gem. I have had a lot of fried green tomatoes throughout Charleston and BLBs absolutely does it best. Fantastic desserts as well. Our server was Daniel and he was extremely good and made great recommendations for our table. Will definitely be back
