Fabulous hospitality by the whole team. Stayed Feb 2026 and it exceeded my expectations. Northern lights, dog sledding, snow machining and more. Just a wonderful holiday. Thank you all
This lodge is so very nice for the location and number of people working there - Everyone chips in to get the job done and make sure you are happy. It’s not a trip for everyone, but if you like a little adventure, this is for you!
We had an amazing time! I highly recommend Bettles on every point that I can think of. Eric was wonderful answering questions as we made our plans, arrival was perfect with a nice warm cookie, accommodations were great and the food was superb. And then we have the lights… The northern lights were beautiful. That’s a big thank you to God and our northern lights concierge, Katsu and Logan. The whole staff couldn’t be more accommodating, friendly and just wonderful. I give it five stars plus.
We came to Bettles to go on the National Park Collector flights to Kobuk Valley and Gates of the Arctic. We really enjoyed that day trip and getting to see the vastness of the parks from the air and getting to spend a bit of time on the ground in both parks. Eric and Heather are gracious and welcoming hosts. Johannes the bush pilot was great on our parks trip.
If you want a great way to see two of America’s most remote national parks, Bettles Lodge checks the box in big comfortable way. They take care of everything from the fights to/from Fairbanks, arranging your flight to Gates of the Arctic and Kobuk Valley to a trip on the river. Food is very good and included. I highly recommend Bettles Lodge for your passport to the Arctic parks. I also recommend the jacuzzi room. They have adult beverages, Starlink wifi, and the Park service has both stamps.
