Even though I called wrong phone number with the wrong person
I drove 40 miles in the early morning to get to the Care One Urgent Care in order to be first to see a doctor— on arrival, I was informed that the triage medical assistant had no arrived, and had not called in, so our choice is to wait or leave for another urgent care. It has been over an hour and no-show, no call. Now we’re being told they will reach out to bring a tech from another location. This place needs a plan for when their Medical Assistant doesn’t show up for work on time. I traveled a long distance for a very important visit and was told that the triage medical assistant didn’t show up, so we would have to either wait for her or go to the Parham Td facility… So I asked if there was a backup plan and was told‘normally, if we can’t reach the MA, we will reach out to our other facilities and ask for a MA from one of them.
