My journey started with a call to Marianne who was very supportive. After a couple of visits to Mo I was booked in for surgery July 2025, I had a roux-n-Y done with a couple of complications and a longer stay than expected. The only thing I would change would be doing it earlier. I am currently 53kgs down and have about another 20 to go. For me the support from Mo has been amazing, I owe my life to him. If you are thinking about surgery, just call and have a chat. The decision is life changing.
I started my journey on 17 June 2023 at 180 kg. Today, I’m sharing my story in the hope that someone who’s sitting on the fence might finally take that first step.
