Why even have a public phone number? They do not answer the phone at all. The recorded message instructs you to “direct insurance questions to your medical team” as if my Sleep Specialist’s office has any idea what insurance plans Better Sleep Oregon accepts let alone if they are able to bill a plan out-of-network. Dr. Hogan is absolutely a top rate practitioner in her field. She made the process of acquiring a dental appliance for sleep apnea a totally satisfying experience. Her communication throughout the process was complete, detailed and easy to understand. On top of that she is very personable and empathetic.
I have received two dental appliances and have had great instruction on use and followup communication. Dr. Hogan is professional and listens to concerns.
Be aware! You want to think twice before you choose this clinic because you may end up $2,000 poorer than you should be. This is what happened to my husband. He has sleep apnea and tried CPAP, which did not work. So he decided to try a mouthpiece. Before we went to Dr. Hogan's office, we called his insurance company concierge service and made sure that the mouthpiece would be covered by his insurance and the Better Sleep Oregon was within the network.
