I have received two dental appliances and have had great instruction on use and followup communication. Dr. Hogan is professional and listens to concerns.
Be aware! You want to think twice before you choose this clinic because you may end up $2,000 poorer than you should be. This is what happened to my husband. He has sleep apnea and tried CPAP, which did not work. So he decided to try a mouthpiece. Before we went to Dr. Hogan's office, we called his insurance company concierge service and made sure that the mouthpiece would be covered by his insurance and the Better Sleep Oregon was within the network. With my experience as a primary care physician for over 40 years, Dr. Hogan has provided me with my best overall experience in healthcare as a patient. I have now been effectively using a dental appliance for 18 months. Dr. Hogan is helpful and kind… as long as you don’t challenge her opinion on whether a visit is “necessary” or ask for accommodations for financial constraints. You might find yourself struggling uncomfortably for several minutes trying take off your new device in office, while she stands silently looking out the window pretending not to notice. (Little tip, if you can’t get the device out make sure you ask for some water as it makes a huge difference! Don’t count on her to offer this info.) Very overpriced if forced to pay ... read more
