BBB, this one in particular, is a joke. So, new policy for the "consumer protection" bureau says that an individual can only file one complaint online for a business. If the business doesnt respond, the consumer must submit future complaints in writing, and communication is done through usps. Who does that rigged system serve? BBB, especially the San Jose location, should be ashamed for even making consumers think they can help in any way. absolutely NOTHING working on their site! Tried filing a complaint....came back 'error try again later', when i came back i get message saying 'reached limit for filing complaint'!??? WTH? i tried to file ONE complaint that DIDN'T go thru, haven't been on their site in months, and I've 'reached my limit'?? So i try leaving a review instead....again, error message. UPDATE: The owner confirmed that Raquel is, in fact, a chatbot. That raises questions for me about how this BBB location operates. It seems likely that the chatbot is provided by a technology company, which makes me wonder how that aligns with the organization's nonprofit mission. In the same response, the owner instructed the reviewer to contact this location by email, but I have never received a follow-up when I follow up via email.
