The receptionist Cathy was absolutely phenomenal, she went above and beyond to help me and answer all my questions. The providers themselves were caring and always gave lots of resources with every appointment. They provided excellent mental health help to me, and they were understanding about my needs. Thank you guys so much for your care and attention!
I guess the owner implemented a new rule that you have to retest for ADHD if you want their services regarding ADHD. As if the tests diagnosing me with ADHD from a previous accredited provider suddenly become erroneous and/or moot. I would have loved to have been told this BEFORE I did all of the scheduling and insurance stuff and questionaires. This place is the reason why people can't get the help they need. No one can pay for the same test over and over and over again.
I have been going to Better Beginnings for a few years now. I have never had a bad experience and have nothing negative to say. The admin staff has always been kind and helpful and the therapists have been wonderful and helpful. Angela D. Is fantastic and has helped me through so much. I definitely recommend Better Beginnings.
Definitely agree with the predatory scheduling practices. I tried calling yesterday (Monday) around 10 am to reschedule my appt for Wednesday early evening. Even though it was MORE THAN 48 HRS I was told I would be charged unless I rescheduled it for the same week?!! The woman who answers the phone is never nice, friendly, or helpful. They send their reminder emails after you're INSIDE the 48-hour window. You can't do any scheduling online - not even thru email -- but apparently "I should've left a voicemail" over the weeken... read more
