We have used BETTA SHADESin Mandurah 3x over the last 6yrs.The last time in June it was a complete disaster.We paid cash for what was supposed to be 100 weather proof blinds.The rain pissed them the next day.I spoke to Daniel the owner and compained. He told me i had ordered the 99% fabric and offered to replace the fabric for $750. He said he had video evidence of me agreeing to 99% but when i asked to see it he ignored me. BEWARE!!  Betta shade is a dishonest and unprofessional outfit.  I urge anyone considering any product or service He claims to provide to look elsewhere and search for negative reviews as they tend to be “scrubbed” from the internet.

Further to a negative review concerning litigation against Betta Shade. In response to the case mounted in Civil Court , Daniel the owner and defendant. says that he has never sold Blinds to the claimant but to another party at the address and he asks that the court dismiss the case.  Daniel knows very well who sat with him and discussed the project, who welcomed him back to suggest an alternative, who sympathized with him when he contacted a disease in Bali, who wrote him texts and letters, and who tried to reach a settleme... read more

Still in litigation over an $1800 deposit held with no justification.  Daniel responded to a mediator from ACCC and Consumer Protection when asked to enumerate his losses from my cancellation of the job a week out from the quote.  I had offered to pay for the material.  However, he stated that I owed him $400 from a previous job!  A total fabrication! Plus $500 for callout fees, $150 admin and $600 for fabric he cannot prove he ordered.  I was gobsmacked!  Hopefully the Magistrate will be also.  I have no comment on his work... read more
