I can’t believe this place doesn’t have more reviews! In Port Townsend for the night (on a Monday - which means many restaurants are closed) But Betta Bar and Seaside Grill was open, and on the water - so we went in hoping for the best… we were not disappointed! The vibe of the place is cozy on the inside with a huge bar. Came at 630pm to have dinner. There is 6 open tables inside the restaurant, 4 open spaces at the bar and an open table for 2 at the bar. Host told us they can't get us in until 730pm. Nah, we are good. We can go somewhere else.
We were passing through PT and it was 11 minutes to close, we'd gone all over looking for food everyone was closed or closing. Called in and the barkeep answered, he said "I can do takeout RIGHT NOW for you guys and take care of you." It was really late. He gave us an estimate of like 10 mins. Raina was absolutely fantastic. Food was on point. Mingled with the locals. Really great experience overall!
My family and I came in at the tail end of service at 7:30. We sat at the bar. Bartender was lovely and knowledgeable. We had 3 apps and two entrees and everything was amazing. We were a little Leary based on previous reviews but this places food blew us out of the water. Our favorites of the night being the mussels & clams frites, the seafood linguine and cioppino.
