I called Bethesda Physicians to try and find an internist on the recommendation of another physician friend. The person who answered the phone was so unbelievably rude and nasty. Cut me off and told me that none of the physicians are taking new patients and never will. What!?! I was shocked at how rude and abrupt she was. And when i tried to ask if there was a waiting list, she hung up on me. I gave 2 stars because I'm told the physicians are an excellent practice group. I saw Dr DiFresco at her previous practice and followed her when she moved to this practice. She is one of the finest most caring physicians I have ever met. Once I found myself caughing up blood. She had me in the office within an hour and had already lined up a board certified pneumo specialist. Her prompt action likely saved my life. Yes, they take no insurance and are quite expensive. But you don't get a 12 minute insurance visit but medicine like it used to be practiced. I highly recommend her.

Just called their office and was told they do not accept Medicare patients at all! Who needs them? Happy New year!
Dr.DiFresco is not only smart , a fantastic diagnostician but one of the nicest people I've ever met. The day of my partial masectomy in a a completely different state she called me to wish me luck. Dr. Cretian is also a gem. Wonderful practice.
