This is our 2nd time to stay at these cabins. The location is very convenient to ride to Wolf Pen Gap trailhead as well as access downtown Mena. After a day on the trails, our family enjoyed fishing and kayaking at the private lake on the property. Communication with the owners was very attentive. They provided all the necessary information as well as giving suggestions for other activities and dining in the area. This will be our "go to" choice for lodging in the future.
The property was gorgeous and the view from every room of the house was spectacular. We enjoyed the privacy and making special family memories.
We have been to a few different places trying to experience different enjoyments for first time memories together and so far this one tops all of our first time experiences. What a wonderful place to stay.
My family of 6 stayed at the Quarter House, and using the pull out couch we were well-accommodated. The setting is very serene and the property is well maintained. The lake was very clean and well-stocked for fishing; there were plenty of nice kayaks available as well. We were dropping our two oldest kids off to nearby Camp Ozark, and we will stay here again next year and hopefully add a few more days to our stay.
