Extremely Disappointed I was recently living in Key West where I biked everywhere. The bike shop down there was small town friendly and I thought the same would be of Bethel's Cycle shop; not so! Upon entering the arrogant employees treated me as if I had no knowledge of bicycles. They tried to talk me into a $65 tune-up when I only came in to have one inner tube changed. Large Selection This store has a very large selection of both road and mountain bikes, and bikes for the whole family. There is a bike here for everyone! Staff will help you find a bike to suit your needs, and prices are reasonable. Limited parking.
Great Shop This bicycle shop is located in the heart of dowtown Bethel. They have a wide selection of bikes in stock from racing bikes, mountain bikes and hybrids. They also carry lots of accessories and you can bring in your own bike for service. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Parking can be limited because it is in the center of town, but I usually can find a space.
Pro shop without the attitude A pro shop without the attitude. Had them install a few parts I didn't buy there and they did it without grumbling, unlike other snobiteria shops you come across. Repair was done quick and correctly. Sales staff very helpful and not pushy. Selection ranges from high end Serotta road bikes and Cannondale mountain bikes to hybrids and pink bmx bikes for little girls. Wide selection of accessories. Reasonable prices and the owner supports local cycling. Highly recommended.
