A wonderful surgeon! She's really caring and gone over and beyond for my boyfriend surgery.
I wish I could give Dr. Mensink 10 out of five stars, but alas, five is all I have to offer. Not only is she technically skilled, she is thoughtful, reassuring,and willing to answer any and all our your questions. You can tell she actually cares about her patients and makes good on her promises. When I was facing a procedure I was not sure I had asked all the questions I should. Dr. Mensink is very kind and gracious. She is an excellent surgeon.
Dr. Mensinks bedside manner is probably the best I have encountered. I was a nervous wreck when scheduling and in a great deal of pain and her kind and compassionate demeanor eased my nerves. She took time to explain thoroughly and I am so grateful I was scheduled with her. I wish she could be my PCP. Thank you Dr. M.
Dr. Mensink did an amazing job on my gallbladder surgery. She explained everything well and I knew exactly what to expect. She was kind and compassionate too. I am a little disappointed that my follow up was scheduled with a PA instead of her, but that may not be her fault. I'm guessing that's Ochsners policy.
