Provider is rude and would not take myself or love one to her if the last on earth. Have had my Mother to her and also spoke on phone. Needs lessons in manners 101
My mother ended up in the hospital with diverticulitis after 3 appointments with Bethann and getting absolutely no help in diagnosing her problem. High fiber supplements and over the counter laxatives were the recommended "cure" for her pain. She suffered 3 weeks with cramping, diarrhea and constipation before going to the emergency room. She has an abcess and major infection. She should have been listened to and her issues should have been addressed. Instead she's in the hospital
She entered the room being disrespectful and rude. She immediately scolded my fiancé for helping me describe my symptoms as I often get brain fog due to medical issues. She didn’t greet me or anybody else in the room before sitting down and asking why I was there. I had asked for a referral for a second opinion on a cardiac related diagnosis and she continued to tell me that “I’m not gonna second guess a specialist” after I had voiced my concerns about why the second opinion was warranted. DO NOT take anyone you love to this 'doctor' under any circumstances. She was rude to my elderly mother, physically abused her and also misdiagnosed her. Bethann dismissed my mother's pain and other symptoms as anxiety, when in fact she was suffering multiple strokes and heart attacks, among other medical problems. My mother died weeks later without ever getting the chance to experience dignified, compassionate care or proper treatment.
Don't take your elderly parent here. Rude and insensitive describe Bethann the best. I wish I had never taken my parent there.
