I've been a pt. of Dr. Friedland's for about 7 years. She has performed cataract surgery on me as well as checking for retinopathy (I'm diabetic). She is not only well-qualified and capable, but is also a doctor who will discuss your condition and any surgeries to be performed; she is also a caring person. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking an opthamologist in the Raleigh or Durham areas. She is also affiliated with Duke U. Hospital.
