Dr. Davis is actually horrible. I was set up to deliver my second baby with her, as my own physician would be out of town on my due date/induction date. Dr. Davis came in 5 hours into my induction, wanting to throw every intervention at me to hurry labor along. I communicated that this was not the plan my own doctor and I had talked about, at which point Dr. Davis became incredibly rude. She stated that the reason for rushing was that they had a lot of deliveries that day (why would you EVER say this to a patient?!?), and le... read more
Dr Davis delivered both of my babies. She is so fantastic I followed her to her new practice mid pregnancy. She goes above and beyond for the safety of both mom and baby, stays up to date on the latest practices and evidence, and truly cares.
More concerned about her ego than my postnatal care.
I initially wanted to see a different doctor, but Dr. Davis was the only one available and I wish I went with my gut instinct. She always seemed intimidating, like any question you asked was stupid. I’ve always felt like I didn’t have a connection with Dr. Davis, she was always in and out, and never really built a relationship with me, nor made me feel safe/listened to. Dr. Davis is the absolute best doctor EVER. She's been my doctor for over 7 years and when she left Texas Children, I swore I would find her and follow wherever she goes. She's so caring, patient, thorough, and personable. Its like I'm coming to see my friend, yet she's my doctor who strives to take care of her patients. I'm always telling people, "You should really change to my doctor because she's the BEST" Before and after my surgery she made sure I was comfortable.
