I went last year with some skin issues and I didn’t feel at all comfortable or heard with my concerns. I felt rushed and embarrassed about bringing them up. Turns out at a different dermatologist, I was diagnosed with a skin issue and made to feel reassured and actually listened to.

I went to this PA to have her check a suspicious looking mole I had. She removed it for a biopsy and reassured me it was nothing. When removing the mole I felt everything and it was painful. I have had many moles removed and felt nothing, so I was unpleasantly surprised at the discomfort she caused. The mole came back as cancerous (so much for “nothing”). When I attended my follow up to talk about the results and the plan of care going forward she was not knowledgeable on the subject and left many questions I had unanswered.... read more
