Went by ambulance because they thought that I was going to have another stroke but when we reached the emergency room the EM.Doctor put me in the waiting room with out checking me out. I sat their until 3:30 in the afternoon the EM.DOCTOR looked at me like he hated me for some reason he never looked at me again. Finally a nurse came and got me looked at me took blood pressure and called my primary care Dr. and they made a plan for medication and I was released. I just got over a gallbladder infection and I'm awaiting a date to have it removed. Early this morning I was in excruciating pain and my doctor suggested I go to the ER and get an emergency ultrasound. We showed up around 4:45pm and were registered and had blood drawn (with what's similar to a picc line put in) right away likely because the waiting room was nearly empty. I can’t say enough good things about this hospital’s ER. The care, professionalism, and compassion I received were top-notch from start to finish. The staff clearly go above and beyond, even while juggling the enormous responsibility of serving over *100,000 people* in the region. That’s no small feat! To those griping about wait times—let’s be real. This is a busy, high-demand facility, not a private spa.
