Went in for extreme stomach pain, vomiting and was getting severe twitching in my arms and legs. Severe. They ordered an ultrasound and the ultrasound tech refused to walk me to the machine. Convinced me it wasn’t necessary and to decline because she didnt want to walk me. Heard her call and yell at the nurse who sent me. I’ve been here multiple times for various reasons; all I can say is that every emergency room around has the same experiences with long waits and no priority given. It’s sad to see patients in hallways when there are empty rooms. It usually takes upwards of 3 hours to get seen by a doctor. Intake is usually not long and once you come in, bloodwork gets taken right away. The wait is usually the problem for everyone, the doctor who saw me for just 2 minutes said they will get me a tylenol and some water, that took a nurse anot... read more

Absolutely unacceptable. The nurse was flat-out rude , made me feel like I was intruding in her own home instead of coming for medical help. The wait was endless, and I didn’t even feel safe in the waiting area (someone was vaping right in front of me, no security, no staff to turn to). The exam room was filthy and broken down. With a 104 fever I needed care and compassion, but got the opposite. The only positive was the doctor, who finally gave me the right diagnosis and treatment. Everything else was a nightmare. Unacceptable is the only word that comes to mind. Never ever come here for an emergency that you need timely / and / or competent and compassionate help with. Never bring a loved on either. From abhorrent wait times, complete lack of communication throughout entire process, misdiagnosis, jumping to costly services without speaking to your for three minutes, down to small but major details such as lack of free water and nurses who take offense to patients emoting.
