I went to a neurologist to this location and it was the worst experience, Dr. Michaleson, she spoke like someone with no knowledge and order a vitamine D test. I got a bill for $1.700 several blood test run without my knowledge and approval. This is not a hospital is a business.

This review is about the insurance process and scam. When I made the appointment with Beth Israel Lahey Health at Chestnut Hill, double checked again and again, they promised they accepted my insurance as in the network. Then I called back to confirm if my insurance is accepted and in the network, I got the same answer, but when the bill came out, it showed out of network and I have to pay every penny although I have met OOPM. If I know they were not in my insurance network, I would not to visit them. Definity will not visit... read more

Really terrible customer support, needed to call several times and be redirected all over the place just to speak to someone who can schedule a minor proceedure/surgery. So sad that BIDMC customer service has gone so far down hill over the past 5 years. Used to be World Class....now it is just plain awful! Thank god for the portal as that is the only way to get anything accomplished. Unfortunately the portal can't do everything.
