Two years ago, I bought a 1965 401 Nailhead engine with the ST400 transmission from James. They were both in excellent rebuildable condition and I now have about 5500 miles on the rebuilt engine and trans in a 1932 Deuce Coupe 3 window with no problems at all. Kicking some LS and small block powered butts at the dragstrip is fun with this completely old school setup (runs high 12s with points and carburetor). I have also gone back to James for parts with the same excellent experience.
