Tried to book a room today to get my kids out of the house for the night and because I am "a local" I was denied the stay. That is the most ridiculous reason to not allow someone to stay. I've never in my life heard something like that and I work in hospitality myself. Horrible service from Chance! Wouldn't recommend to anyone, especially "locals"!
I really enjoy this hotel. It would be five stars except the room walls are quite thin and there is no option on the thermostat to run the HVAC fan constantly - need the white noise when your room is on the road side of the hotel or you have a neighbor. Almost every staff person I've met is wonderful and the restaurant is really great.
