Super cozy
The hotel receptionist was helpful but he tried to put us into a really old nasty smelly room as a free “upgrade”. What a silly little joke. The regular room we ended up staying in was much better but still kind of nasty.
Older property that has been extremely well maintained by people who know what they’re doing. This is my favorite spot of the trip so far and I applaud the owners for doing such a great job and having wonderful employees who seem to care about me as a customer and care about the property. I’m taking an educated guess that this was built circa 1972, so 54 years in business. While there are a few telltale signs that it’s been around that long, I’m still just shocked at the great upkeep.
