My parents booked unknowingly with a 3rd party and did not book the full amount of time needed. They flew from Georgia to come out to my wedding on October 24. My parents have not been to Minnesota in over 20 years. So this was really special that they have time to come out here for this. My mom has major physical disabilities and needed a walk-in shower. Older hotel chain but close to MLC (college), breakfast food selection was good with some unique offerings and pleasant service (Vickie in breakfast area). Large whirlpool & pool.

For $200 a night the value isnt there. The hotel is "tired", it needs updating. Overall they know they have the pool, the best western name, the location, and the conference facilities so it seems like they are maximizing their margins on that, without putting any money back into the building like beds, tub/showers, furniture, paint, and the breakfast equipment. I would have a hard time recommending this hotel to friends/family.

My family's stay here was wonderful. My kids (4 and 6) loved the pool. The breakfast was amazing -- everyone loved the waffles! And eggs, cereal, bagels, yogurt, and even almond milk (which I needed because I can't have dairy so very thankful for that option). Vicki and Emily, who were managing the breakfast, were absolutely lovely. They were super friendly, helpful, and very attentive to refilling food that was emptying out. Having all the food available at all times really made the breakfast that much better. Thank you!!!
