We had a great stay! Great value. Rooms were nice and my granddaughter loved the large pool being all one shallow level. Terri at reservations/front desk was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good . Restaurants within walking distance and downtown Orillia and Waterfront just 5 min. drive. (Agree with previous comment about not letting the outside fool you. ) Would recommend this hotel and hope to stay again.
Noy to sure abou6 this place. They screwed up my reservation, they screwed up my room key and when time to check out they screwed that up as well. AND even the morning desk lady had major attitude like it was our fault they don't know how to do there job. Will not be returning any time soon
Employees tried entering our room twice within the first 30 minutes even after watching us enter our room and offering to assist with luggage. Makes for a very uneasy feeling. Response to Best Western Mariposa: you ask me to contact the hotel directly when it was the manager who tried to enter. Despite bringing this up at the front desk when checking out all I was told is that it would be brought up. Big deal. I will be staying elsewhere in the future.
