The location of this hotel was superb but everything else was just okay. The overall facilities were outdated and tired looking. The room air conditioning unit was loud and not functioning properly. Luckily there was a balcony door that can be left open for fresh air. There were only two lifts for guests, one at each end of the building. The front end lift was painfully slow, while the back end lift was out-of-order.
Clean room, great pressure in shower, comfy bed and good location. Unfortunately only one door card worked, cutlery was one spoon and two knives, noise around hotel terrible. Deliveries at 2:30am woke us up. Workers in the city took most car bays in hotel underground parking. Unsure why this was not being watched. Need for suitcase stands in room. One of the worst hotels I have stayed at for a very long time. Breakfast is the only meal provided at the hotel on the weekend. The bar and resturant is closed up until 5pm apparently. However when we went for a drink on the Sunday it was shut. The lighting in the room is very poor and you need curtains open all the time to get some light. Bathroom has no fan. Rooms are very tired. Extremely Disappointing and Unsafe Stay – Would Not Recommend My recent stay at Lord Forrest Bunbury was far below acceptable standards and raised serious concerns around safety, cleanliness, and customer service. Firstly, as we attempted to exit our room, the door closer fell completely off the hinges. Screws came flying across the floor, creating a real hazard.
