It's nice, if you know what you are getting into. The location is really close to Miami Beach, not too far from downtown. The hotel is cute, there is good food nearby and the rooms have been updated. The elevators do not work, there is a lot of construction nearby, it's easy to mess up your keys and there is no free breakfast/coffee/water. If you can live with that, you will probably like it.

While planning my trip to Miami, I was excited to stay at Palm Tree Club Hotel. The vibrant atmosphere, exterior design, and waterfront restaurant initially attracted me. A hotel staff member told me check-in was at 4 PM. Since I had an early flight, I asked about checking in around 1 PM and was told I could come early to see if a room was available, otherwise they could hold my luggage, which I understood. checked in around 10 PM. The room keys repeatedly failed to work, requiring multiple trips back to the front desk and several trips up and down the building before I was finally able to access the room around 11 PM. The property had a non-functioning elevator while assigning me a fourth-floor room, which required repeated trips up and down the stairs during the key card access issues.
