Great best western
All employees were amazing! Room was clean BUT there was spider webs high up in the skylights. Me and my kids were killing spiders all night. There's also a motion activated light that kicks on any time you roll over or try to get comfortable while sleeping. Those 2 things made the whole experience horrible. Great view but NOT worth the price it when you can't sleep and are constantly smacking at bugs. Was the last room so asking for a room change was hopeless. I stay in a lot of hotels (about 20-25) per year. This is one of the best in which I've stayed. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful; the room was clean, quiet, comfortable, with a nice view of the river; the breakfast food and staff were well above what I've experienced most places; and they're motorcycle friendly! I can’t say enough about our experience at Best Western Lodge at Rivers Edge. Cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at, comfortable beds, great breakfast, and the outdoor patio and seating area are amazing. Right on the river, close walk to town, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Inside fish cleaning station. Designated motorcycle parking area and they even left two bottles of water next to each bike in the morning. Hidden gem for sure.
