The room smelled like mildew and the AC was leaking quite a bit, we had the room set to 73 while we were gone and put it down to 68 while we were asleep, which made us wake up to a fairly large puddle on the floor, we ended up putting a towel on the floor to keep it from leaking to the rest of the room and when we were about to check out we noticed it was sopping wet. the staff was very friendly throughout our whole trip. Best Western Historical in Saint Augustine is an absolute gem. My kids and I loved our short stay here (actually wish it were longer). We were provided the best customer service that I can recall receiving at any hotel ever. Staff were welcoming, made us feel at home, assisted with any need, going above and beyond each time. From helping me find a parking spot when I checked in, allowing me to fill water bottles late at night in the lobby, and getting the yogurt and toppings out for my daughter who missed breakfast, all acts... read more
Rooms are very clean. The staff is very friendly. Pool and hot tub was nice and clean.
