Rooms are small. Bathroom even smaller. Not much room to turn around in the bathroom. Breakfast wasn't great. Coffee is good. Stones base around the pool makes it hard to walk on.
It was "okay". It's a much cheaper option than staying on the island and yes, it's right on the island. It's super old however and breakfast ran out of items before it closed. Overall the place just has a dark feel to it. Although its the "affordable option" its still highly overpriced for the quality. The sink backed up and took forever to drain and the sliding door got stuck multiple times to the patio with bugs covering the area.
Awesome property, friendly staff and clean rooms. Lakeside pool and indoor pool. I would give 6 stars if possible.
I stayed at this hotel from 06/17/2025 to 06/19/2025. On the second night, the entire town—including the hotel—lost power. When I spoke to the front desk, they confirmed with their manager that if we checked out early and didn’t stay the second night, we would receive a full refund for that night, since there was no estimated time for when power would return. This hotel is far too expensive for what the rooms consist of. They are outdated, the floors are so so dirty (they seem to forget to mop, run a towel across the floor and it comes up black). There is a layer of dust on the top of the bathroom door, and the room smells musty like mold. The curtains are stained, there were flies in the room (not mayflies). The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. The beds feel small for queens and the mattress’ are uncomfortable, the pillows are small. The pool was ok, in no way is it heated.... read more
