In the end we did get the mortgage but I felt that Mike dropped the ball a couple times and did not contact us as he said he would when rates really started rising. They did try to make it right after a phone call to his boss but it was only a couple hundred dollar credit at closing when our mortgage ended up being much higher than we were hoping for. I had an unimaginably horrible experience with Best Rate Mortgage and their mortgage broker, Michael Loeffler. Unfortunately, Loeffler did not follow through on his advertised interest rate lock commitment, which resulted in my not receiving the terms and rate I had been promised. Additionally, I did not receive my deposit back at closing. Excellent company. I have worked with Mike Loeffler several times now, and he always provides the lowest interest rates without any closing costs. Highly recommend.

Best Rate Mortgage (BRM) has been awesome. I am in the process of home loan number three and Mike from BRM has everything rolling smoothly. He has given me great advice when it comes to timing of inspections, appraisals, HOA communication, etc. Something other banks and brokers didn't do and instead had me rush to get them all done at one time. This cost me a lot of money when issues were found and I needed to walk away. BRB will continue to earn my business.
