I had my first appointment with Dr. Best today. I came in early and they took me in right away. Their receptionist Nadine is so nice. I only waited for Dr. Best for maybe less than 5 minutes. The first time in my life to be seen by a doctor that quick. She respected my time. She listened to my baby's heartbeat. She was empathetic and explained everything I needed to know. Dr Best was ahead of my scheduled appointment, explained everything to me and was kind and patient.
This woman knows her stuff. She is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable. She helped me bring two beautiful, healthy boys into this world. - you NEVER wait (with my regular gp, I wait at least 45 minutes) You are treated as if your time is equally as important as hers. She is now seeing me for menopausal symptoms. She collects and documents specific concerns I have and then offers me options about how to deal with my concerns.
I never ever leave reviews on these things but I genuinely felt the need to for this experience. Dr. Best didn’t let me finish my sentence. mid explanation, she would say “that’s normal” and cut me off. It clearly wasn’t normal as I finally got some answers seeking a naturopath. She did nothing different for me than the walk in doctor and she’s supposed to be a specialist. The appointment was all of 5 minutes… she didn’t even care to do digging or to ask further questions.
