My 2:45 slot turned into a 4:15 visit after I sat through four other 2:45s getting called before me. The receptionist said they “batch the appointments” to stay efficient. Efficient for who? I took a half day at work for this, and now I’ve heard the hold music in the waiting room three times through. An appointment is supposed to reserve my time, not just reserve me a chair.
I arrived for my scheduled appointment but experienced an excessive wait with nine patients ahead of me. I expect scheduled times to be honored, as everyone’s time is valuable.
I had a 1:30 appointment, but they made me wait because three other patients were booked at the exact same time. Clearly, they have no idea what the word "appointment" actually means.I ended up waiting almost two hours.
I changed my doctor to Dr. Farooki and I have found him to be very responsive. He has even provided me with his cell phone number and if I have any after our questions he responds to my text messages. The office is updated but I get in and out very quickly, which is very important to me and they have a lot of flexibility in terms of appointment times. I have recommended him to more than a dozen people, and all of whom I have recommended seemed to be very happy and comfortable with his treatment plans.
