Since moving here we used them way too many times and gave them way too many chances everything was over priced and workers for the most part had attitudes and always wanted you too do this extra for another 2-5k etc Which I didn’t do. I complained multiple times to deaf ears and at one point someone called and said best we can do is give you a free maintenance plan for the following year and I said well that’s better than nothing I guess. Best Home Services repaired our AC unit, but insisted we needed a new one because the unit would struggle. They charged double the cost of what a standard AC unit costs, at their most basic offering. After the new one was installed, we received a call to have a tech come out to service the coils and blower. I asked why it needed to be serviced since it is only 7 days old and they said it was an upgrade to make the BRAND NEW unit last longer. Incredibly disappointing experience with Best. Saw their name in the 2025 Collier County Homeowner Referral Guidebook so assumed there was some level of vetting and was a credible business. Boy was I wrong. Initial visit was electrical issues. Had 3 outlets replaced at a cost of over $600 total. Was expensive but just chalked it up to electrical work that is always expensive. If I could get 0 stars, that's what I would give. But since one star is the lowest here we go. The serviceman came to the house, looked at the well said it was dry, said we needed a new well which was gonna cost over $20,000. Got a second opinion. There was nothing wrong with the well, just a few gadgets that had to be replaced $100. I think it's terrible when people try to take advantage of seniors.

I booked them 2 days prior to needing them for between 8-11, at 11 they called to say it would be between 1-4pm. At 5:15 they called and said it would be at 7 so I told them I would reschedule. Agin, I book them a day in advance, between 1-4, get a call at 3:30 saying they will be there between 4-6pm.
