i like the prices and extended warranty i try to shop Best Buy during off hours when more help is available. Also prefer to use a local business to keep jobs and tax dollars here. Like anything, it helps to do some research online rather than going to any store on the weekend w/o a clue and expecting the floor help to explain a technology and how to use it while others are waiting for help.
Thieves – I'm quite offended by the abhorrent service I've received from Best Buy today. I spent a lot of money yesterday (2/5) on an 5.1 component based insignia home theater system. The box was opened. When I got the product home, a remote was in the box which was nothing like the picture of the remote on the box. The remote didn't work in the least. Sheesh I've been trying to check on a delivery order now and the phone rang for 10 minutes before anyone picked up. Maybe if the place weren't so bloody loud they'd hear the phone ringing, or if they cared they'd set up a flashing light to let them know someone's calling. The Wal-Mart of electronics stores. Sheesh.

Need to put the hours of operation for each store It would be beneficial to put the hours of operation for each store, this would alleviate unnecessary calls to the store.The AD does not pop out at you.
This place is awful but it wont let you rate it no stars – I sent a version of this to the Best Buy corporation I should think that as Best Buy?s monopolizing choke hold over a huge percentage of the electronics and computer retail market begins to tighten you would be able to afford jobs for the consummate professionals you have displaced. I will probably never call or visit this Best Buy again. The installation guy was super condescending and would not listen to me. So now I am taking my business elsewhere. I had already talked to a salesperson who told me what I was looking for was instock and that they could perform the service. The installation guy didn't even take the time to listen to me and said they don't do the work I know other Best Buys do. What a jerk. I will tell everyone I know.
Never Again!!!!! – I took My hard drive into best buy to get the data retrieved and they ended up formatting the hard drive!!!! Deleting everything on it Costing me a lot of time and Money! I ended up taking the hard drive to a local computer repair store "The computer Geekz" and they were able to get some of my files for me when best buy told me it was hopeless. I suggest to anyone thinking about using this over priced service to check out some of the smaller local computer repair stores near you at least they seem to care ... read more
