Bought a 5000k home theatre system in JULY! As of Nov. 20, still have not received the system. 3 months of unscheduled deliveries, showing up with everything BUT the flat screen, finally agreed to a different TV, as the one I purchased was "discontinued". Now, another month and a half later, including multiple calls AND atrip back to the store, still have nothing! Delivery scheduled for today, neither Magnolia who said call "Geek Squad" or Geek Squad, who said call the store, know anything about me. Still waiting after 4 mon... read more

An adult's toy store So much to choose from, where to start? This Best Buy was a welcome addition to the Metairie area, since we were quite limited to Circuit City as the electronic ruling giant. One can shop for not only electronics, but appliances, big and small. You can shop online and pickup right at the store but beware of the lines. It can be a mess if you get caught up waiting to pick your order up. All just to save time. Oh well. good selection, good employees Always have lots of equipment to look for (except computer equipment) and their staff is generally knowledgable. They finally revamped their digital camera area, moved it, and made it easier to get to the display cameras. It's still hard as heck to find a free employee in that section as they are alwasy busy. Customer service is polite and eager to find a solution to problems, and the store is always clean. Parking can be a pain, so we always park on the roof.
