All the employees are concerned about socializing with one another. Employees once walked the store to see if you needed assistance; those days are over! I needed a car stereo purchased and installed, and the installer (this store had one) REFUSED to provide any assistance at all. He said he needed to look at my car, so I said I brought it. I just spent over $1000 yesterday on a laptop that they did not have in stock, but they called the Cape Girardeau store and told me their shuttle would bring it in at 3am the next day. So I go down today at noon to pick it up and was told "oh the shuttle had to go to Paducah first and then will go to Cape. We will text you when it gets in." This is unacceptable to tell the customer lies about what they will do but can't follow thru. Its not right that they display product that they don't have in stock. Excellent place to shop for anything electronic. Their Geek Squad protection plans are the best, and well worth the money, I've had to use their protection plans in the past, and they stand behind it 100 %
I was in there today to buy a new PC and monitor. The ones that I wanted had two prices, apparently the prices changed today and even though both prices had the same sku # they refused to honor the lower price. I was fully prepared to spend more than $1200 I intended to purchase the PC the monitor, a gaming keyboard and a new headset. I'm through with Best Buy and will be purchasing any future electronics online or from other retailers.
I was in this past Monday needing a new phone because I ruined my old one. I had a couple of different people helping me. I cannot remember the first girls name that got me started with a new Verizon contract but she was awesome and answered a ton of questions for me. Then a man I believe by the name of Brad took over. Awesome service!! Then another man, I believe Terrance was his name, he was working in the Samsung part, started helping too.
